Pleasant staff, neat and bright room with sea views. Comfy pillows and bed. Good services, free Wi-Fi. Location near to the sea front, a desert and centre. For tea or coffee visit The Lookout Cafe nearby.

We stayed here for 7 nights, the hotel was good little and well priced, had stunning location to the pier 10mins from harbour.

Powerful showers in clean bathrooms, but the room showed signs of wear.

Noise levels hit a peak since this room sat directly beneath the bar. The walls served as poor sound barriers, allowing conversations from neighboring rooms to flood in until nearly midnight. The lack of dedicated parking on a narrow side street complicated things a bit, especially during busy times. Access to the building felt a tad awkward. You had to navigate through a fire exit after the pub closed, which could be a bit disconcerting. The room, while reasonably clean, felt more like an afterthought rather than a dedicated hotel space. I also found the amenities to be lacking. A TV selection with limited channels and a radiator that only heated up on the last night left a lot to be desired.

I appreciated the clean and tidy room with a lovely shower that enhanced my comfort. The staff were really good, always friendly and eager to assist, greatly improving my experience at Hotel De Ville.

Better bathroom lighting for applying makeup would help.

The staff were cute, and the place was impressively clean and well-kept. It was an easy walk to the seafront.

Stayed for 3 nights, really nice space for our stuff and perfect for our small dog. The location was fab, just a few mins walk to where we needed to go. Staff were super chill n friendly. Pretty clean and had all the basics we needed for a comfy stay. Loved that we didn't have to pay extra for the tiny dog!

The room could use a little modernization, and the bathroom didn't have a proper blind so it was a bit awkward. The lack of an iron/board was annoying since our clothes got wrinkled.

The room was spacious and super clean, really comfortable for a budget stay. I loved how fresh the sheets smelled! Showers had fantastic pressure, made my day. There were plenty of plug sockets to charge everything. Just wish there was an iron, and the bathroom could use a blind for a touch more privacy. A solid choice if you're looking for comfort and cleanliness.

Room decor outdated. The place was clean and the shower strong. Enjoyed billiards in the pub downstairs. Convenient location near the beach.

The location is ideal, just an 8-minute walk to the harbor. Our twin room was comfy and clean, with a powerful shower that felt amazing after a long day. We enjoyed the facilities like the pool table and tea/coffee in the room.

As a solo traveler, I appreciated the friendly staff and the convenience of having clean rooms, with tea and coffee replenished daily to refuel after my adventures.

Had a decent night here with a cozy bed and a nice little TV that made winding down easier. The sun terrace was quite inviting, and I loved relaxing in the leisure room after a long day. Just be ready for some noise from the bar below, but it didn't spoil my overall experience! 😊
